In Memoriam Dr. David A. Armour

It is with sadness that I mark the passing of Dr. David Armour on April 28, 2010. Dr. Armour was deputy director of the Mackinac State Historic Parks (Mackinac Island State Park Commission) for 36 years, and supervised much of the restoration and reconstruction of the park structures. He shared his love of colonial history in numerous publications and through teaching at the University of Wisconsin, Calvin College and Grove City College.
